To include food trucks of the vegan and traditional variety, with snowcones, and fruit bowls, along with enough bacon themed dishes to go around, the event was a huge success. Lakee Smith, owner of Da Munchies Express food truck, took the time to Step onto The Rose Carpet. Smith expressed to Kelaiah Rose that although her food truck is filled with delicious home cooked cuisine, she is also a mobile non-profit here to benefit the community. “If someone is at an event we’re attending and is hungry but may not have enough money, they can still eat,” says Smith.
